Un día meditando en la Palabra de Dios y cómo Dios creó los cielos y la tierra; la frase “Y vió Dios que era Bueno”; retumbó en mi cabeza. Y pensé: “Que increíble, Dios, el Todopodero, en el medio de la labor más importante que nadie ha podido tener, como el la Creación de la Tierra, se detuvo a mirar lo que había hecho y dijo “es bueno”.
Más aun, la Biblia comienza diciendo que la tierra estaba vacía y desordenada, en el mismo estado en el que a veces están nuestras casa ;P, o nuestras vidas. Y cuando Dios creó la luz en vez de detenerse a mirar todo lo que le faltaba por arreglar, se detuvo a observar lo que había hecho. Hace una gran diferencia cuando nos tomamos un momento para apreciar nuestro buen trabajo y sentirnos mejor con nosotros mismo.
Así que toma dos minutos en este fin de semana para pensar en las cosas que lograste esta semana. Disfruta de la recompensa por las cosas que hiciste bien hoy para que puedas fortalecer tu deseo de formar el hábito de progresar. Recordemos ser amable con nosotros mismos por aquellas cosas que todavía están pendientes. No tiene sentido tratar de ser perfecto. Aprendamos de nuestro Dios que siendo perfecto se detuvo a decir “Es Bueno”.

Note: Today’s Spanish post talks about taking the time to appreciate the work we have done.
This is something I’m still working on because sometimes I focus so much on my pending tasks that I easily get discouraged.
One day I was meditating in the Word of God, thinking about the process when God created the heavens and the earth; the phrase “God saw the light was good” echoed in my head. And I thought: “That’s incredible, The Almighty God, in the middle of the most important task that nobody has ever had, the Creation of the earth, stopped to look at what He had done {The Light} and said “it is good.”
Even more, the Bible starts saying that The Earth “was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness” (MSG.) And when God created the light instead of stopping to look at mess and His pending tasks, He observed what He had done. In the same way we should live the moment and take the time to appreciate our good work.
